Q-Park and De Zuid CV sign operating agreement for high-quality parking garage in Mares Den Haag at Sea
During the PROVADA, Q-Park and De Zuid CV of developers MRP and VORM symbolically signed the operating agreement for the operation of the high-quality parking garage within the high-end new-build project Mares Den Haag aan Zee, part of the De Zuid area development in Scheveningen, The Hague.

"Quality in parking" as a foundation for area quality
"Mares is a leading new construction project in which quality and appearance come together," says Michiel Tenge, General Manager of Q-Park Netherlands. "Parking plays a crucial role in this. It connects accessibility with quality of life in Scheveningen. With our focus on 'Quality in parking', we guarantee a carefree customer journey for residents and visitors. We are proud to contribute to this together with all partners."
The parking garage in Mares is being developed as a high-quality, hospitable and future-proof mobility facility with a unique location on the Dutch coast. The location is characterized by luxury housing, recreation, maritime functions and the direct vicinity of the beach, sea, harbor and the Natura 2000 Westduinpark. The focus is on sustainable mobility solutions, reliable operation and an optimal user experience for residents and visitors. Digitization makes it possible to control busyness, time and target group. With digital access, reservations, occupancy information and targeted communication, search traffic in the area can decrease and become destination traffic. In addition, visitors and residents can easily drive in and out based on license plate recognition.
According to Bart Meijer of MRP, the choice of a high-quality operating partner is essential: "In a development of this quality, directly on the coast, it is important to work with a partner that stands for reliability, service and a high-quality user experience. This contributes directly to the image and success of our Mares and De Zuid projects. We are therefore delighted to be able to work with Q-Park, just as we did in our previously completed AMST project in Amsterdam."
Smart separation between residents and visitors
The parking facility is designed with a clear and functional separation between resident and visitor flows:
114 parking spaces for residents of the 98 homes in Mares
184 public parking spaces for visitors
Complete physical and functional separation of both parking flows
Optimal focus on safety, comfort and flow
