ZuidKade back in the spotlight: nomination for the Hague Housing Award 2025

ZuidKade, part of the De Zuid area development, is a prime example of close collaboration between public and private parties, combining architectural and urban design excellence with sustainable impact on the living and working environment. It also reflects the successful implementation of the municipality’s housing policy, balancing residential ambitions with the preservation of Scheveningen Harbour’s diverse and innovative maritime functions.

ZuidKade is a development by De Zuid C.V., MRP, and VORM, in collaboration with the Municipality of The Hague. The apartment designs were created by LEVS Architects and ZECC Architects, the townhouses by HOYT Architects and Broos de Bruijn, and the landscape architecture by Copijn. The developers worked closely with Bruynzeel Keukens NEXT, Duravit, Quooker, and Woonlab on the interior design. The project is being realized by VORM Bouw.
