Daniël van Dongen appointed CFO of MRP
As of 1 June 2026, Daniël van Dongen has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MRP. In this role, he will be responsible for finance, governance, funding, risk management, and the continued professionalization of the organization and its international subsidiaries.
With Daniël’s appointment, MRP welcomes an experienced financial executive with a strong background in real estate, renewable energy, and organizational development. He previously held senior financial and executive positions at several leading organizations, including Wereldhave, where he served as Group Controller, and the listed real estate company NSI and solar energy developer Sunrock, both in the role of CFO.

In addition to his executive experience, Daniël is active as a supervisory board member and director across a variety of organizations operating at the intersection of real estate, energy, and social impact. Until recently, he served as Program Director with a focus on social real estate at Invest-NL. He also serves as board member of an energy cooperative and as a supervisory board member of, among others, Publiek Ontwikkelbedrijf REKS and the Limburg Energy Fund.
